Penny Auction Software Upgrade Policy

Penny Auction Software Support is very time-demanding and complex operation.

With regards to the software upgrade, we fix bugs with monetary issues, security and stability  and once or twice a month provide upgrade for your website and any involved sites.

Please note that if there is a cosmetic or functionality fix we usually do not  upgrade existing customers since the process includes (not necessary all elements):

  • scheduling of penny auction script stop
  • setting up test user accounts and test auctions
  • website halt and notification to users
  • applying the fix to relevant pages and testing it
  • testing basic functionality
  • removing test auctions and test users
  • website re-start
  • notification of the customer

This is kind of unpractical  if we develop some feature for one customer and  spend, for example,  three hours and then do the whole set of works for all our clients (it will take several weeks of work ). Companies, that claim they provide such a service in practice never do this, but use this promise as a sales trick.

With part of the plugins and backend situation, some of them really can be delivered as out of the box software and we make upgrade on the website taking into consideration particular situation in the specific time, typically combining with scheduled maintenance or general upgrade of Penny Auction software functionality.
