Variable Price Increment
The variable price increment plugin allows to setup different price increments on different auctions. So one auction would change its price in $0.10 increment after a bid occurs while the other in $0.01 increment.
Prices are defined in increment types, such as 0.10 cent or 0.50 cent. For each type a special icon is assigned that identifies this group visually. Typically it’s a coin with a value of increment on it.
A small icon displayed on the homepage, while a bigger icon is displayed on the auction page.
Site Administrator able to define for an increment type
- which types are set on the server,
- what is the default increment type
- which icons are used.
If this plugin is installed, you can see in Auction->Edit a combobox (selection list).
Enterprise version of penny auction script uses an advanced version of the plugin with special performance adjustments.
