- The admin may define the minimum required amount of bids for each auction and its estimated end time.
- If the minimum required bids amount is not reached when the auction end time comes, then the auction is extended for 24 hours more (configurable)
- If the minimum required bids amount is reached and the auction end time comes, then the lowest unique bid wins.
- Members cannot place bids lower than the minimum bid amount set up for the auction by the admin.
- Members cannot have more than 3 unique bids in a row and can not have more than 9 unique bids between 50 lowest unique bids.
Categories & Subcategories
- Site Admin can set categories & sub categories on the website.
- Unlimited number of products could be added to each category.
Registration
- Members register to take part in the auction. (Note: not all lowest unique bid auctions require registration. The script can be modified to place bids through SMS, thus making the registration not required)
- SMS registration is available in many countries. Please note that additional fee might be applied to run SMS registration to buy bulk SMS messages.
Homepage
- There is a featured auction on the home page which is selected by the admin.
- Other auctions are automatically arranged – the auction that fulfiled the minimum bids requirement and is close to its end advances to the top positions.
- Members can place bids by clicking the “bid now” button – from Homepage as well.
- Site Admin could manage all the text blocks; he could define which texts should appear for the logged-in users and which for the logged out, in which order the texts should appear and so on.
Users Area
- Trough “My Auctions” area, users will see the details of ongoing auctions they have participated in.
- Bidders can review their deposits and bids history.
- Members typically pay by credit card. We have interfaces for LinkPoint (USA), ProtX (UK & Europe) and Tranzilla (Israel). If you country is using other payment system we can integrate it as well for an additional fee.
- We can customize the script to get payment through sending SMS
- Member can update their account, change username and password, change email address.
- Users can subscribe to a newsletter, Site Admin is able to download a list of users in CSV format.
